The area, referred to as ‘Kyoto by the Sea’, comprises seven charming towns and is located 100 kilometers from the city of Kyoto.

The three-day journey kicks off with a day exploring Amanohashidate, a charming coastal town . Take a cable car to see the best views of the stunning Amanohashidate sea bridge before continuing by boat to Ine for a memorable two night stay.
Ine is one of the best-preserved traditional fishing villages, a special place where sustainable travel is carefully managed to prevent over-tourism. Guests will explore by boat and on foot to see Funaya boathouses, traditional crafts and authentic rural life.
A deep dive into textiles, samurai culture and sake brewing in Kyotango wraps up this brilliant detour from the Golden Trail.
